ESL/TEFL Teachers Needed UK Outside London

We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic and reliable teachers to join us at WSE Juniors at Lord Wandsworth College, where we host residential students aged 12 to 17. Lord Wandsworth College is located in lovely grounds in a beautiful part of the countryside on the Surrey/Hampshire border. It has excellent sports, classroom and dining facilities, and modern boarding houses. Accommodation and all meals are provided.

You should have an interest in working with children and a willingness to contribute to all aspects of the summer centre, including social activities and excursions. We are a strong advocate of continuous professional development and employment will include weekly developmental workshops. As you will be working with minors, you will be required to provide outstanding pastoral care.

WSE Juniors is the young learners wing of Wimbledon School of English, the joint number one English language school in the UK (according to industry magazine, the EL Gazette, and British Council inspection results). WSE Juniors deliver high-quality, residential summer language courses to students aged 12-17 years old from around the world. In 2023, WSE Juniors will be holding summer centres in two locations: at our main-school site in Wimbledon, South-West London, and in the spacious, modern grounds of Lord Wandsworth College, Hampshire. This posting refers to the position at Lord Wandsworth College only. The course will run from 9 July to 5 August, however teachers will need to be available from Saturday 8 July if starting in the first week of the course.

ESL/TEFL Jon  Role
Teachers at WSE Juniors Summer Centres take an active role in the life of the school. Candidates should be highly motivated, professional, innovative, and CELTA or CertTESOL qualified. Applicants should have experience in teaching all levels from pre-intermediate to advanced, an interest in working with children and a willingness to contribute to all aspects of the summer centre, including social activities and excursions. We are a strong advocate of continuous professional development and employment will include weekly developmental workshops. As you will be working with minors, you will be required to provide outstanding pastoral care and work in accordance with the WSE Juniors policy on Safeguarding Young People & Child Protection.
